Guerrero Elementary School Mesa, Arizona 
Established in August 2000, Guerrero Elementary School in Mesa, Arizona is technology-rich and well-equipped. The school has a fully developed lab setting that teachers use for whole group instruction. Teachers also have access to computers (3-5) in their classrooms. Guerrero Elementary School’s demographic consists of 14% white students, 77% Hispanic students, 3% black students and 5% Native American students. A high percentage of the Hispanic student population has been ELL-assessed and identified. KnowledgeBox® is having a positive impact on Guerrero Elementary’s teachers and students. Nearly every teacher uses KnowledgeBox during their lab times each week. With help from Laura Sears, the Technology Specialist, teachers are planning and building customized lessons in all subject areas to meet the needs of their diverse student population. |
